I was about to order a new UDPP online when I came across a photo of one of the bottles cut in half. This made me realize how much product must be in the bluges of the genie bottle (now they sell it in a squeeze tube which is much more practical). so I cut mine open in 2 different places, and you wouldn’t believe how much came out. A whole 3 weeks worth! (And the bottle I cut open was a baby primer that came with my Naked Palette, imagine what would come out of a full size bottle.) Here are some photos of what it looked like:

Urban Decay Naked Palette Review:

This palette is something that I have been using almost everyday since I received it in the mail. If you follow make-up trends or even just like to occasionally look at new cosmetic items, I am sure that you have heard of the Naked Palette. It has been the hottest item from Urban Decay for quite sometime. Ever since it came out it has been hard to get your hands on at every Sephora, Ulta, and Online site it is sold at. The funny thing is that it has been made known that this palette is a permanent item in the Urban Decay line. With all the hype and rushing to buy it, you’d think it is limited edition. This palette (as you can probably guess from the name) consists of only neutral eye shadows. Normally I’m not a huge Urban Decay fan because most of the eye shadows they sell are either in really bright and wild colors, or they are loaded with chunky glitter that has lots of fallout (despite the proper use of primer). But this palette is different because I have not encountered one shadow that has too much shimmer or glitter. The looks that you can create with this palette range from office-chic, school appropriate, deep smoky, and summery bronze. It is extremely versatile. Even my mom occasionally borrows it. At $47 it may seem like a lot of money, but it comes with 12 of Urban Decays full sized shadows (normally priced at $17), a mini primer potion, and a good karma eyeshadow brush (normally priced at $26) Thats a $230 value, that’s pretty good>

I have decided the key to anti-aging is NEVER to read instruction booklets. When you get a new technology, just fumble around until you figure out how the damn thing works, and if that fails, ask someone. If they say “did you read the instruction booklet?” stay proud. Just say “NO, I did not”. Just the other day I was running with my iphone and the music kept skipping around. I didn’t know why that was happening, but I saw someone with an iphone and I yelled out for help. Thanks to Stephanie Simonelli, I now know how to figure out that part of the iphone. The rest will take me some fumbling time. But it will stave off dementia and give my skin a youthful glow.

It doesn’t matter what you use to do eyebrows, what matters is that you get the hair out by the root, that you don’t rip or burn the skin, but most of all: The person doing your eyebrows must know how to shape your eyebrows. AND without using a “cut out”. Otherwise, they don’t really know what they are doing.

New From My Teen Age Niece

Found a new “nifty” kind of item that I enjoy.

Today I was shopping in my local health food store (in the beauty isle of course) when I came across a little stand that had what looked like toothbrushes and toothbrush holders. So I looked through everything on the stand when I came across some packages that said “Razor Travel Case” and “Soap Travel Case” and “Full-Size Tampon Case” as soon as I saw that I stopped and picked up one to read a little bit further into it. Well these “Full Size Tampon Cases” could (instead of tampons) hold cosmetic brushes, eyeliner and mascara, tweezers, nail files, and pencils. so of course, I bought one and filled it up as soon as I got home. (Picked mine up for the price of $2.69) It held 3 tampons! When I filled it up with cosmetic items it held two eyeliners and a mascara. (It could also hold one MAC Shadestick and a Mascara or one lipliner, a mascara and an eyeliner.) I think these are very useful, not only for putting in your purse or suitcase so your things don’t get mixed in with everything else and are easy to find, but also because if you drop your purse or bag and things fall out, it would be very embarrassing if some tampons fell out, but if this case falls out no can really know what is inside.
